What is FUP? And what should I do when my usage reaches the FUP limit?

FUP stands for Fair Usage Policy. It is a data usage limit set by the provider to ensure fair network usage for all users. If you exceed this limit, your internet speed will be automatically reduced, but you will still be able to use it.

If your FUP is used up while your Unlimited package is still active, you can continue using the internet at a reduced speed. However, you won’t be able to add extra data or purchase a new package for the same country until the current Unlimited package expires.

Example:

You purchase an Unlimited package with a 1GB FUP. Once you reach the FUP limit, you won’t be able to add a 2GB FUP top-up or any additional data until your current Unlimited package ends.
