How to activate my Kurosim eSIM?
To ensure a smooth connection upon arriving in your destination country, make sure to follow these steps to activate your eSIM:
1. Turn On Data Roaming
Android Device
Go to Settings
Click Connections
Choose Mobile Networks.
Turn the Data Roaming toggle to On
Apple Device
Go to Settings
Click Celluler / Mobile Service
Select Kurosim eSIM
Turn the Data Roaming toggle to On
2. Switch Celluler Data to Kurosim eSIM
Android Device
Open Settings
Tap Connections
Press SIM Manager
On Preferred SIMs section, click Mobile data
Choose eSIM.
Apple Device
Open Settings
Tap Cellular
Click Cellular Data
Change the cellular data to Kurosim's eSIM.
3. Set the APN to "globaldata"
Android Device
Open Kurosim App and go to My eSIMs page
Click the eSIM you would like to adjust and choose installation instructions (you can get the APN details here)
Go to Settings on your Android device
Tap on Connection and then Mobile Network
Click on Access Point Names and tap on the downloaded eSIM
Click Add and Set the APN based on details given in Kurosim App.
Apple Device
Open Kurosim App and go to My eSIMs page
Click the eSIM you would like to adjust and choose installation instructions (you can get the APN details here)
Go to Settings on your iOS device
Tap on Celluler / Mobile Service
Click on installed eSIM
Tap Cellular Data Network / Mobile Data Network and then input the APN based on details given in Kurosim App.
