Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?
Before transfering your eSIM, make sure to back up your old device before starting the transfer.
To transfer an eSIM from iPhone to iPhone, make sure both devices are running iOS 16 or later.
On your current iPhone, go to:
Settings > Cellular > Mobile Data > Tap on the eSIM you want to transfer > Tap "Transfer to Another iPhone".
On your new iPhone, go to:
Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Follow the on-screen instructions on both devices to complete the transfer.
Transferring eSIM from iPhone to Android
On your old iPhone, go to:
Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data > Tap on the eSIM you want to transfer > Tap "Remove Cellular Plan" and confirm.
On your Android phone, make sure it supports eSIM, is updated to the latest software version, and is connected to the internet. Go to:
Settings > Network & Internet > Tap "Mobile Network" > Advanced > Carrier > Select "Add Carrier" and scan the QR code provided by your carrier or enter the activation code.
If you are using an eSIM from your carrier, you can transfer your eSIM from Android to iPhone using Apple's eSIM Carrier Activation process. First, contact your carrier to transfer your phone number to your new device. Then, follow the steps listed above to transfer your eSIM.
